This Week

We got chicks! N had four Bluebell chicks for his birthday from Grandma and Grandad. (Bluebells are a hybrid breed (Maran and Rhode Island Red) and we've got four different shades of grey. Can't wait to see how they turn out!) For now though it's 35 degrees for the first week and then 5 degrees less for the next, then pot on, thin out and harden off...or something like that.

A whole lot of patience is being required around here.

(Not including a second birthday that's fast approaching - eeek!)

It was an animally kind of Easter! Hope yours was good too!
